The craziest, busiest, most fun summer yet!

This summer has been crazy!

About a week before school was out, I received an email that got my summer started right away! I went through a discipleship program through T Bar M Camps in New Braunfels, TX the year after college. I loved it. I love the people at camp. Keith, the director of the discipleship program sent an email to all of the former team members (154 total)...asking us if we would be interested in going on the Camp Bahamas mission trip the following week. He said that he only needed 10 people for the trip to happen...he didn't feel like the Lord wanted him to cancel the trip...so he asked us. 11 of us said yes! So in a week I got stuff ready to go to the Bahamas for a week to live on a boat and run a sports camp for some of the local kids on Long Island. It was one of the best decisions I made this summer. The Lord blessed me more than I could have ever imagined...and I just hope I made some kind of impact for His kingdom while there.

I was home for about a week and a half and then took off on my next adventure. This trip had been planned for awhile...and I was super excited! Two friends and I flew to Dublin Ireland. When we got to Dublin, we rented a car and headed to Northern Ireland. After being in Northern Ireland for two days, we drove to a few other cities in Ireland before we headed back to Dublin. The next day we flew to Edinburgh, Scotland. We spent about 8 days in Scotland. It. Was. Beautiful.

I was home for a couple of days (4 actually) and then I headed to Arkansas to visit my family. My parents had already planned a trip to Branson to Silver Dollar City with my sister, brother-in-law, and my niece and nephew. It was a fun but super tiring weekend.

I drove home on Monday and then headed out again on Tuesday to go to New Braunfels. Some friends of mine and I go down there every summer to float the Comal River and then go to Schlitterbaun. It's always so fun to act like a kid again.

Finally...I'm home for the rest of the summer. I don't like to think about how little summer I have left...but I'm gonna enjoy the remaining few weeks sleeping in my own bed and getting a few things done around my house. :)
